The six finalists for the 2018 Caligari Prize


The shortlist for the award for best film noir features The Stolen Caravaggio by Roberto Andò, On My Skin by Alessio Cremonini, Boys Cry by the D’Innocenzo brothers, Respiri by Alfredo Fiorillo, Dogman by Matteo Garrone and Ride by Jacopo Rondinelli.

Gigi Cavenago designs the poster for Noir in Festival 2018


The 28th edition pays homage to zombies and Romero’s Night of the Living Dead with a special poster created by one of Italy’s most promising and most gifted comic book illustrators on the scene today.

Jo NesbÝ to receive the 2018 Raymond Chandler Award


Noir in Festival honors the Norwegian author, who will be in Milan and Como from December 3 to 9, with its prestigious lifetime achievement award for a master of the noir genre.

Film Submissions are open


Films selected in this section must have been completed after December 2017 and cannot have previously screened in Italy or at an Italian festival. Deadline for submission is October 31st 2018.

Handia Won 10 Goya Awards


The film won the Goyas for best original script, best new actor, art direction, production design, cinematography, editing, special effects, original score, hair and make-up and costume design.
