Helena has a loving husband, a beautiful daughter and a business that that fills her days. But she also has a secret: her mother was abducted as a teenager and held captive in a mountain cabin in the most remote forests in Canada, where Helena herself was born and lived as a child. Over twenty years later, her secret comes to light when her father breaks out of prison, and the only person who can stop him is the one who knows him better than anyone else: his daughter.
