The literary magazine Barrio explores the reality of evil.
Presented by editor-in-chief Boris Sollazzo.

The second issue of Barrio offers up another ensemble performance by voices of all kinds, probing the dark side of our society, our souls, and genre fiction. Imagination cross-pollinates with facts to give new impetus and space to real-life or invented stories, stirring up emotions and resetting reality. It brings crime into the realm of the real, since ‘true crime’ is often a misleading label.
True?Crime, therefore, is the question that the literary quarterly Barrio, directed by Boris Sollazzo, asked itself, choosing to wield the short story to dig deep into a genre that predates all the others and has become a filter for recounting reality. It invited leading authors, journalists, and even actors to take a walk on the dark side, to understand what we have become and how we have told the story.
