Ho visto cose: a tour of Gustavo Rol’s Turin

Turin is well known for being a capital of magic; it is even said that there is a city within the city, concocted of legends, secrets, hiding places, light and shadow, the occult and esoteric symbolism. It’s an atmosphere imbued with myths and legends that the city’s residents are used to: some take issue with the scarier tales about ghosts and demons, while others are intrigued by the idea of an unknown world and still others try to ignore it all.
Even the last group, however, is well versed in the more popular legends, and everyone has had, on more than one occasion, to try to explain the city’s esoteric geometry to outsiders.
