Città di polvere
Feltrinelli

Once Marco Tanzi was Milan’s top cop. But then there was prison, years in the ranks of the homeless and voluntary exile, followed by his rehabilitation and comeback. Now he leads a tranquil existence once more, until he’s asked to work on an unauthorized investigation and infiltrate Italy’s toughest prison to pry information out of one of the mob’s bookkeepers - which would be a significant blow for the ‘ndrangheta and its cocaine trade in Milan.

Romano De Marco wears two hats: he’s a writer and a safety manager for one of Italy’s leading banks. His first novel, Ferro e fuoco, came out in 2009, followed two years later by Milano a mano armata (2012 Lomellina in giallo Award), and A casa del diavolo (a finalist for the 2013 Nebbia Gialla Award). He contributes short stories to Linus, Il Corriere della sera and numerous anthologies. De Marco’s 2014 novel Io la troverò was a finalist for both the Nebbia Gialla Award and the 2014 Giorgio Scerbanenco - La Stampa Award.
