Two men - 20-something Danny and the middle-aged Vic - fortify a nondescript British apartment so it can serve as a prison, and then kidnap a woman, Alice Creed, and tie her to a bed. The daughter of a wealthy business, Alice is Vic and Danny’s ticket to a better life. “I wanted to make a movie centered around a kidnapping, in which you don’t see the actual kidnapping, or at least none of the elements usually associated with these kinds of films […].
