The choice of a winner and a wide-ranging conversation about genre cinema

Six filmmakers for the six titles vying for the Caligari Award. The competition for best Italian noir of the year is also an opportunity for a dialogue on the state of the art, genre cinema, the stories to tell and how to get them produced. A talk moderated by Maurizio Di Rienzo and Giulio Sangiorgio, who, together with Anna Maria Pasetti and eighty students and film fans, make up the large jury entirely up to the task of selecting the best film.
