A sophisticated and disquieting gothic fairy tale, this graphic novel is part of the cross-media project that features Pantafa, the first horror movie produced by Fandango with Rai Cinema, coming out next fall
In the late 1970s, Ernest travels across Italy armed with his tape recorder, to collect stories and first-hand accounts about a fast-modernizing Italy, the old in danger of disappearing. The story begins with the protagonist’s arrival in Malanotte, the small village where his grandfather and all his ancestors were born and raised, until overnight, his father had decided to sell the family home to move to the city and try his luck there. Over three diabolical days, Ernesto goes from being a coddled guest to a stranger, a foreign body to be expelled immediately. He will learn many things about that place and his own destiny. A terrible curse lies on the old family home, and has now been passed on to him.
