The Irish novelist to receive the Raymond Chandler Award for Lifetime Achievement
The festival celebrates two formidable outliers of world cinema who have pushed the envelope of the genre beyond traditional noir and into horror.
The event will now be held March 8-13, 2021, its opening day coinciding with International Women’s Day.
John le Carré meets Noir: one of the most amazing events in the history of our festival. David Cornwell was our guest at the dawn of this new century, in 2001, when he traveled to Courmayeur to receive the Raymond Chandler Award.
Mario Alberti has designed a poster for Noir’s 30th that looks back on the festival’s past but even more, imagines its future.
The dates for the 30th edition move to March 2021. But starting next week, things get underway with the popular vote for the Scerbanenco Award, to be followed by the Caligari Prize and a series of masterclasses with masters of the genre.
30th Edition of Noir in Festival will take place November 30 - December 4, 2020.
