The film – a mix between police comedy and pure thriller – is set in the Sapins Bleus retirement home, where Simon, an ex-police officer, ends up against his will. There, he meets a range of colourful characters: nurse’s aides Christine and Chantal; elderly rocker and karaoke fan Francky; the new director of the home, Madame Laval; American Jane Latour-Jackson; a former industrialist; the head nurse, and others. One day, Madame Laval’s predecessor has a fatal fall down the stairs. Not convinced, like everyone else, that it was an accident, Simon decides to carry out his own investigation.
