  Nadav Lapid  
 
Nadav Lapid (Tel Aviv, Israel, 1975) studied history and philosophy in Tel Aviv, then film at the Sam Spiegel Film & Television School in Jerusalem. He made several shorts, including Border Project and Road, which were selected for numerous festivals. His graduation film Emile’s Girlfriend was distributed in France. His first novel, Continues to Dance, was published in 2001. He also works as a sports journalist and film and television critic. In 2007 he was selected for a Cannes Film Festival Residency, where he wrote the script for Policeman, which won this year’s Special Jury Prize at Locarno.
