The Hunter is a crime series about a hunter and his prey. It tells the true story of prosecutor Alfonso Sabella that, in the 90s, sent to jail some of the most dangerous and cruel bosses in Sicilian Mafia modern history, such as Leoluca Bagarella and Giovanni Brusca. But this series is something more than a simple detection story: it’s rather a character driven drama series that focuses on the complex personality of the hunter, Alfonso, a man that sacrifices everything (his family, his friends, the chance to have a normal life) to chase his justice obsession.
